Our brief history

Selatan Jadi Jaya, PT. is one of the leading automotive battery manufacturers in Indonesia. The company was established in 1995 and is located in Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia. Since 2007, the company through its large investments, have grown to become one of the most big players on among automotive battery manufacturers in the World.

Selatan Jadi Jaya, PT. spread its wing to differ its division to fulfil the market demand of automotive batteries. The company spearheaded the manufacturing of Maintenance Free battery withy high quality standard, not only for car use, but also for all range of automotive vehicles and lighting. To become the first independent company, Selatan Jadi Jaya, PT. has developed all the lines to be integrated to support the fast, efficient, and effective production line from raw material up to finished goods. With this support, customers will receive their goods earlier than usual expectation.

1995 – New facility is setup on a land located at Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia. The facilities are divided into some area with different division running plastic container, melting, automotive conventional and maintenance free battery, and carton box.

2005 – Company registration.

2006 – New facility of motorcycle conventional dry charge and maintenance free battery was setup in the same land area.

2006 – ISO 9001:2000 certified.

2007 – SNI Certification for motorcycle batteries.

2007 – Product certificate to conform with requirement of equipment and product safety Aet-GPSG 7 (1).

2008 – Facility of automotive maintenance free battery was also setup in the same land area.

2009 – ISO 9001:2008 certified.
